Job Description

Help deliver & pick up flooring material for projects all around the lower mainland. (Driving either a panel van or 3 tonne truck)

Stock day to day materials on your truck.

Operate a forklift & assist with loading/unloading vehicles. We will train for forklift.

Help set jobs up for the following day.

Assist with the drivers list, fill in for main driver when on holidays, help in warehouse when needed.

Basic Data Entry-input information on Excel job sheets/print work orders.

Assist warehouseperson with tool maintenance, organization & maintaining inventory.

Fill in for holidays/sickness with driving & warehouse duties.

The Candidate

A valid drivers license and clean driving record, abstract required. Dependability, punctuality & flexibility are a must. You are familiar with the lower mainland or are easily able to follow directions. Applicant must be in good physical condition with the strength to easily lift 100 pounds. The ideal candidate would be mechanically inclined, have the ability to recognize maintenance requirements for Tools & Vehicles, and be able to assist with minor repairs. Comfortability with computers. Knowledge of Excel, Word, SharePoint (Office 365) would be ideal. We will offer some training if needed with the programs. this is a perfect opportunity for a person with a strong work ethic, ability to work with others & the desire to learn. Flexibility with hours and some o/t is required.

The Package

You will enjoy a great family orientated culture, combined with a competitive compensation package. We offer $18.00-$22.00 per hour (starting range, based on experience) and full-time (40) hours per week. Performance reviews will be held at 3 & 6 months, with the opportunity for a pay increase at 9 Months. You will become eligible for extended health benefits (vision, dental, prescriptions) at 3 months. Casual (but clean & neat) dress code.
